I'm certified with PADI. I did most of my diving in warm water in Aruba. I love night dives the best! Everything is much bigger and more of it at night. They have two airplanes they anchored above the coral. One is a Twin Beach Craft and the other is a DC3. We dove alot of wrecks while in Aruba. There is a German tanker in about 65 feet of water off the shore. They take you up inside an air pocket..it's really cool.
My experiences in cold water are not good. Rhode Island was the only place we had to dive living in Ct. we had only the Long Island Sound. No visibility. The diving in RI at least gave us about twenty feet on a calm day. The water is too cold to really enjoy it. You need a full 1/4" wetsuit with boots, gloves and hood and that gets too restrictive for me. I'm spoiled with the Carribean...LOL. I haven't had the chance to dive since I moved to TN. Tink and I visit her brother in FT. Lauderdale, Fla. but all we did there was snorkle diving. I'd love to join you guys and meet you at a combination dive/apostafest. Let us know. Thanks.
